WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
The last three matchups between the Fleet and Victoire have gone past regulation (two in overtime, one in a shootout). That is the longest streak between any two PWHL teams this season.
Montréal lost its last game in overtime against New York, 3-2, their fourth game this month that ended past regulation. That is two more than any other PWHL team in March 2025 (Minnesota & Boston – two each).
Maureen Murphy recorded her third goal of the season in her last game against the Sirens, making her the 11th Montréal player to score three goals this season. That is tied for the most by any PWHL team in a single campaign (Boston last season).
Montréal has only lost consecutive games in one other instance this season (Feb. 18 & 22 against Minnesota and Ottawa).
Laura Stacey leads the head-to-head season series with five points (2G, 3A) in four games against Boston.
Marie-Philip Poulin is one point away from her second straight season with at least 20 points and would become the first player in the league to reach that milestone in both seasons.
Montréal has the league’s best record when scoring first (7-3-1-1) followed by Boston (6-2-1-1). The Victoire also have the league’s best record when allowing the game’s first goal (3-3-1-4) followed by the Fleet (2-3-3-5).
Boston returns to the Tsongas Center for the first time since Mar. 5 and have won their last six games there after losing their first home game of the season (5-1-0-1). That is tied for the second most wins by any PWHL team this season in their primary home venue (Toronto at Coca-Cola Coliseum), behind Montréal’s eight victories at Place Bell.
The Fleet won their last game against the Charge, 5-2, scoring four goals in the third period. That is the most goals that Boston has scored in any period all-time (including playoffs).
Hilary Knight, PWHL First Star of the Week, had a goal and two assists in her last game against Ottawa, her second time recording at least three points over her last three games. She reached that mark once over her first 20 games this season.
Forward Kelly Babstock and defender Hadley Hartmetz will make their home debuts tonight for the Fleet. Babstock's four appearances so far this season have all been on the road, and Hartmetz was activated off long-term injured reserve and will play in her first career game.
Boston leads the league with 27 goals in the third period and Montréal ranks sixth with 13 goals in the final frame. The Victoire lead the league with 27 goals in the second period, while the Fleet rank sixth with 15 goals in the middle frame. They are both tied with 16 goals in the first period.
The Fleet lead the league with an 87.5% penalty kill efficiency, while the Victoire rank fifth with a power play at 14.9%.
WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
“It's a big game for us. I think that there's parts of our game that we want to clean up, and we want to make sure that we're really focusing on against Boston, who always plays us tough and seems to always bring us to overtime. We want three points out of it. We don't want to go to overtime. We want to establish our game plan and outwork them.” - Victoire Head Coach Kori Cheverie.
“We're working together and aiming to go hard every shift. It's important to keep the momentum going, stick to the details and play hard.” - Fleet forward Kelly Babstock.
TUESDAY’S GAME: The Fleet are hosting College Night at the Tsongas Center!
