The Victoire get it done on home ice, defeating the Frost to earn the chance to face the Ottawa Charge in the Walter Cup Finals. For Montréal, their stars showed up when it mattered most, with an outstanding performance between the pipes from Ann-Renée Desbiens and, of course, captain clutch Marie-Philip Poulin scoring the game-winner.

2026 PWHL WALTER CUP FINALS TO BEGIN THURSDAY

The top-seeded Montréal Victoire will host the Ottawa Charge in Games 1 and 2 of the PWHL Walter Cup Finals, this Thursday at 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m., both at Place Bell. The Victoire will travel to Ottawa for Games 3 and 4, if necessary, on Monday, May 18 at 6 p.m., and Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m., both at Canadian Tire Centre. Game 5 of the series, if necessary, will be hosted by Montréal, with exact details tbd.
