Our Pride Unity Games, presented by e.l.f., celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with special guests, activations, in-game tributes and partnerships with local and national LGBTQ+ organizations.

These celebrations feature a special edition Pride Unity Game logo designed by Hamilton, Ontario-based artist Eli, a queer and transgender creative whose work is deeply rooted in themes of identity, resilience and self-expression. We are proud to honor the LGBTQ+ community with Eli's powerful art.

In-Game Activations

  • Ceremonial Puck Drop: Chancellor Julie Chen
    • Leading the ceremonial puck drop is Julie Chen, Chancellor of UMass Lowell, a trailblazer in education and a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the first Asian American chancellor in UMass Lowell’s history, she has been a strong advocate for creating inclusive spaces in both academics and athletics. Her leadership reflects the values of Pride Month, making her a fitting representative to help celebrate this special game.
  • Pride Parade: Fans are invited to take part in a Pride Parade during intermission, celebrating love, identity, and inclusion. This interactive activation will allow attendees to connect with local LGBTQIA+ organizations, show their Pride, and highlight the ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive hockey culture.
  • Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce

    The Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce promotes economic opportunities for LGBTQIA+ businesses and professionals, advocating for inclusion and equality in the workplace and beyond. Through partnerships with major corporations and local businesses, they provide resources, networking opportunities, and policy advocacy to create a more equitable business environment for LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs and workers.

  • Granite Pride

    Granite Pride is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community across New Hampshire. Their work includes organizing the annual Granite Pride Festival, providing educational programs, and advocating for policies that support LGBTQIA+ rights. Through a network of volunteers and community partnerships, they create safe, welcoming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies throughout the state.

Eli's artwork is featured on the PWHL’s Pride Unity Games commemorative shirt, available for purchase at in-venue locations and online at The Official Shop of the PWHL. In celebration of Pride Unity Games, the PWHL is proud to make a contribution to the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC), which opened in June 2024 and serves as a living tribute to the LGBTQ+ rights movement, offering education, historical preservation, and a space for community engagement.

Community Spotlight

Operated independently by Pride Live, the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center is dedicated to protecting and preserving the legacy of the Stonewall Rebellion and allows visitors to experience the historic site where the fight for LGBTQ+ equality began.
