Our Pride Unity Games, presented by e.l.f., celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with special guests, activations, in-game tributes and partnerships with local and national LGBTQ+ organizations.

These celebrations feature a special edition Pride Unity Game logo designed by Hamilton, Ontario-based artist Eli, a queer and transgender creative whose work is deeply rooted in themes of identity, resilience and self-expression. We are proud to honor the LGBTQ+ community with Eli's powerful art.

Our Unity Games series is dedicated to bringing together players, fans and communities - join us in celebrating Pride!

In-Game Activations:

  • Free Mom Hugs: Representatives from Free Mom Hugs will be present at arena entrances and throughout the concourse, offering warm, affirming embraces to fans and attendees. This initiative fosters a welcoming and supportive environment, celebrating love, acceptance, and belonging for all members of the hockey community.
  • Minnesota Women’s Supply Drive with Tubman: Minnesota will be hosting a Women’s Supply Drive in partnership with Tubman, a local organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. The drive aims to collect essential items for women and children in need, including hygiene products, clothing, and household supplies. Fans are encouraged to bring donations to the game, and collection bins will be available at designated locations throughout the arena. All contributions will go directly to Tubman’s services, helping provide safety, healing, and empowerment for women and children in Minnesota.
  • Puck Drop: Twin Cities Pride’s Andi Otto
    • Twin Cities Pride has long been a champion for the LGBTQIA+ community in Minnesota, and their dedication to inclusivity and equality is truly inspiring. This ceremonial puck drop celebrates the ongoing fight for LGBTQIA+ rights and the vibrant, diverse communities that make our region so special. We invite everyone to join us in showing support and solidarity as we continue to celebrate pride, visibility, and equality—both in sports and beyond.
    • Andi Otto was hired as the Executive Director in October 2022 after 15 years of volunteering and working for Twin Cities Pride. He has held many positions with Pride including, Director of Operations, Board Member, Volunteer Manager, Safety and Security, and Parade Manager. His dedication comes from ensuring that all LGBTQ+ community members get to be their authentic selves and feel supported in the community. Andi is a proud member of the trans community and lives with his spouse Dana (they/them), and their young daughters. The whole family is very active in youth hockey, huge MN Wild fans, has a love of animals, and enjoys being outdoors.
  • Twin Cities Pride

    Twin Cities Pride is one of the largest and most influential LGBTQIA+ organizations in Minnesota, dedicated to promoting inclusivity, visibility, and equality for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Their flagship event, the Twin Cities Pride Festival, celebrates and supports LGBTQIA+ culture and history through a vibrant array of activities, including a parade, live performances, arts, and community-building events. The organization also advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights, offering programs, resources, and support throughout the year to ensure a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone in the Twin Cities and beyond.

  • Reclaim

    Reclaim is an LGBTQIA+ youth-centered organization based in Minnesota that is committed to empowering and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth of color and their families. Reclaim works to build a strong, culturally relevant community that helps youth navigate challenges and develop leadership skills while promoting social justice and racial equity. Their programs include mentorship, advocacy, and community-building initiatives aimed at providing youth with safe spaces, resources, and opportunities to thrive as they explore their identities and voices.

  • OutFront Minnesota

    OutFront Minnesota is a statewide organization dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ rights through advocacy, education, and community engagement. Their mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment for all LGBTQIA+ individuals by focusing on policy change, public education, and providing resources for both individuals and organizations. OutFront Minnesota is involved in legislative advocacy, offering legal services, training, and support for issues ranging from workplace discrimination to healthcare access. They also host events that promote the empowerment and visibility of LGBTQIA+ communities across the state.

  • Queer Space Collective

    Queer Space Collective is a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to creating affirming and supportive spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth. Through its mentorship programs, leadership initiatives, and community events, Queer Space Collective fosters connections that empower young people to embrace their identities with confidence. By pairing LGBTQIA+ youth with adult mentors, the organization provides guidance, advocacy, and a sense of belonging, ensuring that the next generation grows up in an inclusive and accepting environment. Their work extends beyond mentorship, engaging in community-driven efforts to uplift and celebrate queer youth across Minnesota.

  • You Can Play

    A leading organization in the movement for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sports, You Can Play is dedicated to ensuring that athletes, coaches, and fans are judged solely on their talent, work ethic, and dedication—never on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Through partnerships with professional leagues and grassroots organizations, You Can Play continues to break down barriers and create meaningful change in sports culture.

Eli's artwork is featured on the PWHL’s Pride Unity Games commemorative shirt, available for purchase at in-venue locations and online at The Official Shop of the PWHL. In celebration of Pride Unity Games, the PWHL is proud to make a contribution to the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC), which opened in June 2024 and serves as a living tribute to the LGBTQ+ rights movement, offering education, historical preservation, and a space for community engagement.

Community Spotlight

Operated independently by Pride Live, the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center is dedicated to protecting and preserving the legacy of the Stonewall Rebellion and allows visitors to experience the historic site where the fight for LGBTQ+ equality began.
