This Women's Empowerment Month, we are celebrating the women shaping the future both on and off the ice as part of our Unity Games series. This series is dedicated to bringing together players, fans and communities. Join us in our efforts to to inspire future generations of women to continue breaking barriers and achieving success.

The unique artwork and logo design is created by Fiorella Granda, a Toronto-based designer and illustrator. The design represents a powerful story of celebration, community, and inclusivity. It is a tribute to the resilience, strength, and unity of women in sports, symbolizing the ongoing fight for equality and visibility in sports.

In-Game Activations:

  • Minnesota Women’s Supply Drive with Tubman: Minnesota will be hosting a Women’s Supply Drive in partnership with Tubman, a local organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. The drive aims to collect essential items for women and children in need, including hygiene products, clothing, and household supplies. Fans are encouraged to bring donations to the game, and collection bins will be available at designated locations throughout the arena. All contributions will go directly to Tubman’s services, helping provide safety, healing, and empowerment for women and children in Minnesota.
  • Elsa and Anna, the beloved characters from Frozen, who will be performing the national anthem at tonight’s game! Elsa and Anna are part of the current production of Frozen at the renowned Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, a leader in youth-focused performing arts. Their performance will bring the magic and spirit of Frozen to life, blending the beloved songs of the film with the excitement of live theater. The Children's Theatre Company has been creating exceptional performances for families for decades, and we are excited to have these iconic characters join us to kick off the game.
  • Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance

    The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) is dedicated to raising awareness, providing support, and advancing research for ovarian cancer. Through education, advocacy, and community outreach, MOCA works tirelessly to improve the lives of those impacted by the disease. They offer resources for patients and their families, including support groups and informational programs, while also funding research initiatives aimed at improving early detection and treatment. MOCA’s mission is to bring hope to those affected by ovarian cancer and ensure that no one faces the disease alone.

  • WISE (Women's Initiative for Self-Empowerment)

    WISE is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering immigrant and refugee women and girls. The organization focuses on providing programs and services that promote self-sufficiency, leadership, and community engagement. Rosie the Hockey Player

  • The PWHL and the PWHLPA are partnering with author Jenna M. Prestidge on the launch of her seventh book in the bestselling series “Rosie the Hockey Player: The History of Women’s Hockey”, which celebrates the achievements of the many women who have helped grow the game of hockey. The book will be released on March 8, International Women’s Day, and available for purchase only on the PWHL Shop through the end of March. A donation will be made to benefit Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and Women's Sports Foundation.
