Pre-Game Activations:

  • Pre-Game Mixer: Due to the overwhelming success of last season's event, The Sirens are excited to host their Pre-Game Pride Mixer once again in the Prudential Lounge before puck drop! The mixer has become so popular that there is now a waitlist for fans to attend, and we’re thrilled to have the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC) tabling at this vibrant gathering.
    • Activations will include a fun photo op with a lively backdrop and props, a "I Show My Pride By..." sign-making table for attendees to share how they show their pride, and bracelet-making stations for fans to get creative. Guests will also enjoy a variety of pride-themed giveaways, including mini pride flags, sunglasses, and rainbow bracelets. The Prudential Lounge will be decorated with festive, pride-inspired touches, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for fans to celebrate and show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Player Walk-ins: Players will arrive wearing PWHL Pride Month shirts, featuring Eli's specially designed logo—a bold and meaningful representation of identity, resilience, and self-expression. Inspired by traditional tattoo flash art, the design symbolizes the ongoing fight for visibility, self-acceptance, and equality within hockey and beyond.
    • Additionally, players will hold up "I show my pride by..." signs, amplifying how they celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community, reinforcing the league’s commitment to inclusion and visibility.
  • Puck Drop: Diana Rodriguez & Ann Marie Gothard of Stonewall National Monument Visitor Centre. The Stonewall National Monument stands as a powerful symbol of LGBTQ+ history and resilience, commemorating the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and the ongoing fight for equality. Diana and Ann Marie’s presence highlights the importance of visibility, advocacy, and community, reinforcing the PWHL’s commitment to inclusion in hockey and beyond.
    • Diana Rodriguez and Ann Marie Gothard are co-founders of Pride Live, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ equality. Over the past six years, they have collaborated with the National Park Service to establish the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, the first LGBTQIA+ visitor center within the National Park System. Their efforts culminated in the opening of the Visitor Center on June 28, 2024, marking the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion.
