Jocelyne Larocque got the party started, but the Charge were unable to stave off the Fleet as they fall in Game 1 of the series.
Gwyneth Philips was outstanding between the pipes, shutting down Boston’s attack to backstop Ottawa to a crucial win and even the series at one game apiece. Goals from Ronja Savolainen and Fanuza Kadirova, along with an empty-netter from Gabbie Hughes, ensured the Charge head back to Ottawa with a win after taking Game 2 in Boston.
Ottawa pushes Boston to the brink with a 2–1 victory in Game 3. A shot off the back wall ricocheted toward the crease and off Aerin Frankel to give the Charge the lead with under 30 seconds to go in the game. Ronja Savolainen gets credited with the goal, her second of the postseason. Ottawa will look to clinch a spot in the Finals on Sunday.
The Charge are heading back to the Walter Cup Finals. After winning Game 3 late in the third period, the Charge made sure the series ended in Ottawa, with Michela Cava getting the winner just over a minute into the second overtime period. The Charge will play the winner of Minnesota and Montréal, who face off in a winner-take-all Game 5 tomorrow.

Playing with the Charge for the second season after spending the 2024 campaign with Toronto, Leslie (whose previous career-high in points was nine) exploded for 14 goals and 9 assists this regular season.
After a standout rookie season, Philips was named the 2025 PWHL Ilana Kloss Playoff MVP despite her team losing in the finals. She closed out a great 2025-26 regular season with a shutout in the crucial finale.
